About Anglican Parish of Hunters Hill
The church in Hunter's Hill was the first in the world to be named after the saint, having been called the Church of Blessed Peter Chanel up until 1954. 1 1/2 acres of land purchased in 1890. The land for the church was purchased by Father Claude Joly, S.M. in August 1890, from W. Cope and G.S. Arthur.

The parish church of the Assumption of Our Lady of Robledo de Chavela. The current church has a floor plan formed by a nave with three sections with an approximate width of 14 and a half meters, a straight front section like a transept that does not stand out in plan, but stands out for having a greater length, and a polygonal head of five.

Some church records have been lost or have deteriorated due natural disasters such as fire, flood, and earthquakes. Civil and political strife has also caused record loss, including during time of the Spanish Civil War.

Hunters Hill Congregational Church, situated in Alexandra Street, Hunters Hill, adjacent to the Town Hall, held its first services on 19 November 1876 and was completed in 1878. All Saints' Church of England in Ferry Street, Hunters Hill, was opened and dedicated on 22 April 1888; the foundation stone being laid on 30 May 1885.

The Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church, Hunters Hill was blessed and opened by Bishop Louis Elloy on 12/2/1871. Extensive additions together with a bell and tower was blessed and opened by the Archbishop of Sydney, Cardinal Moran in April 1904. No other details are known.
