General Admission: $30 for adults, $25 for seniors (65+), $25 for youth (14-17), & $20 for children (4-13) Hours of Operation: Wednesday - Sunday, 9:30 AM - 5 PM; last admission is at 4:30 PM. Casa Loma is a Gothic Revival-style mansion built at the request of financier Sir Henry Pellat. Using improper Spanish referring to "hill house" or "house on the hill," he commissioned architect E. J. Lennox to design Casa Loma in 1911. It took three years, 299 workers, and $3.5 million to create this architectural masterpiece.

Visitors interested in learning about Toronto's sordid past can traipse through the Dark Side Tunnel Exhibit, an 800-foot tunnel under Casa Loma that connects the main house to the stables. The tunnel is lined with archival photographs of Toronto's "dark" years during the Prohibition, the Depression, the Plague, the Great Toronto Fire, as well as the very first plane crash in Toronto.
